Step 1. Install Movavi’s black and white photo maker

Download the installation file, then click on it twice. After the installation starts, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Step 2. Add your photo

Hit the Browse for Images button to open the file you want to edit. Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop the pic into the working area.

Step 3. Make the image black and white

To make the picture black and white, switch over to the Effects tab and choose Grayscale from the list on the right. To adjust the intensity of the shading, move the slider to the left in the selected area and then click the checkmark button. To compare an edited image with the original, press the Before/After icon at the top right of the window.

Step 4. Save the edited image
