EnhanceMovie :: Using markers

Markers allow enhancing only some parts of your video. In other words, you can apply filters and effects not to the entire video, rather to the fragments that require enhancing or that you want to emphasize with some video effects.

Each filter has its own markers. When you add a filters or an effect to your video, a start and finish markers appear in the beginning and in the end of your video correspondingly. This means that the filter will be applied to the entire video:

However, you may want to enable this filter just to some part of your file. To do this, just drag the markers to the beginning and the end of the fragment that requires enhancing. This way, the filter will be applied only to the fragment between the markers.

You can make more than one fragment where the filter will be active. To do this, drag the seek slider to the beginning of the next interval and press . Then, drag the seek slider to the end of the interval and press again.

You can add as many filters and as many intervals for each filter as you need.

When some interval is selected, you can quickly assign new positions for your start and finish markers during playback. To do this, just select Playback > Selected Start / Selected End or just press Shift + Home / Shift + End for the start and finish makers correspondingly. This will not create new markers, rather moves your existing markers to new positions.

To delete an interval, select its start or finish marker and press . To delete all intervals, select menu Filters > Clear intervals.
