EnhanceMovie :: Tutorials

Before you start:

Making something look better than the original is always a tricky thing. Restoring video, you should count on your source (whether a videotape or digital video), your skills and the equipment you use. Although at first you may be satisfied with your videos taken with a digital camcorder, after applying a basic filter to it you will see how drastically it can be enhanced. Needless to say, video filtering is a must after capturing video, especially when digitizing home-made VHS sources. It is very important to achieve as best results as possible at this first step, since that would be the file you will have to work later with.

There can't be "all-in-one" solution for fixing every single problem with video. Every record and every problem require an individual approach to them. In this guide we tried to pick out some of the most common problems with video and describe how your video can be cleaned up using the EnhanceMovie software. Each problem is illustrated with a video example showing the order of applying the filters and their settings. These examples will help you to familiarize yourself with the variety of filters in EnhanceMovie and with the ways of fixing your videos with them. Obviously, many will find a solution for a problem similar to their own. We highly recommend all beginners at video restoration to study the following examples to restore video better with EnhanceMovie.
