You can convert your videos and DVDs for use on your iPod quickly and easily with Movavi VideoSuite.
To transfer video files to your iPod, the files must be in MP4 format with special settings. But with Movavi VideoSuite, you don't need to know anything about video formats and settings to do the transfer - just add your video or DVD, select a ready-made preset for iPod, and hit Convert!

Follow these simple steps to transfer your favorite video to iPod:


Step 1
Open Convert Video/DVD

In the Movavi VideoSuite main window, choose 'Convert Video/DVD' to launch the application.


Step 2
Add Video or DVD

From the program screen, open the movie or DVD you want to transfer.

  • To add a DVD, click the DVD button.
  • To add a video file, click the Video button.


Step 3
Choose a preset for iPod

In the Devices mode from the Output format list, select 'Apple iPod'. Choose one of presets supported by Movavi VideoSuite:
  • iPod video, 320x240 (.mp4)
  • iPod 5G video, 640x480 (.mp4)


Step 4
Click Convert

  • Select the folder where you want to save the converted files.
  • Press the Convert button.



Step 5
Transfer to iPod

Attach your iPod to the computer and synch it with iTunes.

To play the movie on your iPod, select Videos then Movies from the iPod Main Menu. You will see an alphabetical list of the available movies. Click on the desired movie to play it.




IMPORTANT: To export a movie from Movavi VideoSuite to your iPod, you must have an iPod with video capability. You must also have QuickTime 7.0.4 or later and iTunes 6.0 or later installed on your computer. For the latest versions of these applications, open System Preferences, click Software Update, and then click Check Now.
