Looking to add some futuristic flair to your videos? You’ve got it! The new hologram effect in Movavi Video Editor 2025 makes sci-fi-inspired edits super simple.

Add your video

Click the Add Files button. Choose the main video and drag it onto the Timeline. Next, pick another video to transform into a hologram and position it on top of the main video.

Select the secondary video, head to Clip properties, and set the blending mode to Screen. For an even better effect, try adjusting the video opacity.

Save the edited video

Click Export. In the popup window, select the settings you want and click Start.
