How to Make Your Portraits Shine with AI Retouching

Open the installation file and follow the instructions on the screen.

Launch Movavi Photo Editor, click Add image, and pick the file you want to edit. Or you can just drag and drop the image into the program's workspace.

You can smooth out wrinkles, erase birthmarks, scars, and other skin imperfections in your portraits. Plus, you can clean up any spots, scuffs, scratches, or unwanted objects that might have shown up in old, damaged photos that you've converted.

Go to the Retouching tab. You can retouch your photo either automatically or manually. If you pick the automatic option, the program will make some adjustments for you. But if you prefer to do everything yourself, you can choose the manual option, and the program will guide you through all the retouching tools.

Choose Blemish removal from the Skin section on the left-hand panel. Adjust the tool size to match the area you want to retouch. Then, simply click on the blemish, and it'll vanish like magic! Repeat this for all the problem areas and click Apply when you're done. Make your skin matte and radiant using the Skin smoothing and Shine removal tools. Fix red eyes with the Red eye removal in the Eyes section and brighten your smile with Teeth whitening in the Mouth section. You can even add makeup or change your eye and hair color for a whole new look!

Besides retouching, you can enhance your photo in many other ways: boost the contrast, sharpen blurry shots, and balance highlights and shadows to emphasize details that are too dark or too light. You can also adjust hue, temperature, and tint for perfect color correction. Just head to the Adjust tab and move the sliders to set these and other parameters. The photo editor uses AI technology to bring out the best in your image.

Once your picture is ready, save it by clicking the Save button in the lower-right corner. Choose the image format you want, then hit Save.
